A graduation party hall for dinner

In Large Hall A the graduation dinner takes place under a 7-metre vault of 1947 wooden trusses, in a hall without columns, so no supports block the view of the stage. Up to 270 guests can be seated at tables here. The photo on this page shows Hall A laid out for a banquet, with round tables, stage lighting and the 1947 trusses.

For a smaller gathering there is Medium Hall B+C – halls B and C joined by a mobile partition into 250 m², for a dinner of up to 140 guests. It is likewise equipped with a 3 × 10 m stage, a Samsung LED screen (5.8 × 3.2 m), up to four 65-inch repeater screens, a 6-speaker sound system, 4 wash fixtures and RGB vault lighting.

The in-house inventory includes 800 chairs and 60 mobile folding tables. For example, the evening can start with a welcome at the reception desk in Lounge 1A, continue with dinner and speeches in Hall A and end with dancing.

A graduation evening with a stage, lighting and an LED wall

Hall A has a built-in Samsung 2.5 mm LED wall (6.7 × 3.8 m) that can show photos, slideshows, videos or the evening programme. The picture is controlled over AVoIP, and up to six 65-inch repeater screens can be used in the hall.

The hall also has a 3 × 10 m stage made of 2 × 1 m segments (60–80 cm high), an 8-speaker sound system, 12 wash fixtures with a DMX controller and controllable RGB vault lighting, so the colour of the vault can match the mood of the evening.

For speeches and congratulations the hall equipment includes Shure microphones. Three wireless microphones are included in the hall hire, and the integrated sound system supports more channels, with the number agreed per event.

The integrated sound, video and lighting equipment is included in the rental as well. If the evening opens with a formal part and speeches, arranging the in-house furniture theatre-style is also covered.

Dancing without furniture and concert acoustics

For a dance floor without furniture, Large Hall A holds up to 570 guests and Hall B+C up to 300.

For live music, such as a band, the acoustics of Hall A are tuned for concerts, and the centre has rigging points rated up to 500 kg. Music, video projection, extra lighting and technical service for the dancing can be booked through our partner Baltas Dažnis, and further equipment is also available through Konferenta.

The orangery and courtyard – an evening outdoors

The graduation evening can also be held in the orangery – a transparent-canopy pavilion about 10 m wide (390 m²) beside the factory building – and in the adjoining green courtyard (300 m²). Together they accommodate up to 220 guests at dinner tables or up to 550 standing, and in the evening the pavilion glows.

Outdoors there are power connections and rigging points, and mobile speakers can be added as an extra. In the off-season the pavilion hire is arranged per event.

For a cooler evening Renginio partneris hires out heaters and umbrellas, and festoon lights for a festive mood; it also rents pavilions, tents and indoor and outdoor furniture.

Arrival and welcoming the guests

The venue is in Naujamiestis, on the Tech Zity Vilnius campus – 55,000 m² dedicated to technology and the creative industries. Above the main entrance, guests are greeted by the Samsung Conference Centre sign, and the first stop inside is the reception desk by the Samsung wall in Lounge 1A, with a seating area by the windows and the stairs to the upper floor next to it.

The doors of Large Hall A are in the upstairs Lounge 2A, with windows onto the campus courtyard and wooden trusses. The building itself is historic: the masonry dates from the 1940s, and the legendary sewing factory opened here in 1947. Today the building has a new life under a sustainability strategy – no demolition, recycling and cutting CO₂ emissions.
