The SAMSUNG Conference Centre offers three conference halls and common areas in a former sewing factory in Naujamiestis, brought back to life. Which conference hall suits your event

It pays to choose a conference hall by the number of attendees and the nature of the programme. Small halls B (110 m²) and C (140 m²) seat from 90 to 130 attendees theatre-style. A mobile partition joins them into the 250 m² Medium Hall B+C, which suits conferences of up to 220 attendees. Large Hall A (470 m²) seats up to 500, and when you book the whole centre, the entire 2,650 m² building is given over to your conference.

In Large Hall A, attendees sit beneath a seven-metre vault of 1947 wooden trusses, and there are no columns in the room. The historic building was revived following a sustainability strategy – without demolition, through recycling and by cutting CO₂ emissions. Hall C has a black-wall scenography for board meetings, presentations and intimate discussions, while the compact Hall B is meant for seminars, training and presentations.

Besides theatre-style, the capacity table also gives classroom and cabaret figures. Theatre-style places chairs in rows facing the stage, classroom seats attendees at tables set out in rows, and cabaret groups them in small numbers at tables with one side left open towards the stage. Classroom suits sessions where delegates take notes, and cabaret suits workshops in small groups. Capacities are preliminary and calculated without a stage, so slight variations are possible.

LED walls, microphones and AVoIP control

Video and sound equipment is built into every hall. Large Hall A has a Samsung 2.5 mm LED wall (6.7 × 3.8 m), up to six 65-inch repeater screens that duplicate its picture, and an 8-speaker sound system. Hall B+C has a 5.8 × 3.2 m LED wall, up to four repeater screens and 6-speaker sound, while Hall B has an LED wall of the same size, two repeater screens and four speakers. Hall C uses a 130-inch mobile Samsung LED screen with a 2-speaker sound system.

The LED screens in all halls run on AVoIP control, which carries video and audio over an IP network. The halls are equipped with Shure wireless microphones. The hire includes 3 wireless microphones; the integrated sound system supports more channels, so the number of microphones is arranged per event.

For lighting, Hall A has 12 wash fixtures with a DMX controller and halls B+C and B have four each, while RGB vault lighting is fitted in every hall. The stage in Hall A measures 3 × 10 m and is built from 2 × 1 m segments at a height of 60–80 cm; halls B and B+C have a stage of the same size. The acoustics of Hall A are tuned for concerts, and the venue has rigging points rated up to 500 kg.

Extra video projection, sound, lighting, music or technical service can be booked through our partners Baltas Dažnis and Konferenta.

Registration, coffee breaks and sponsors

Lounge 1A (300 m²) has a reception desk by the Samsung wall – the first stop inside for your attendees. There is a seating area by the windows, with the stairs to the second floor beside it.

Lounge 2A (220 m²) on the second floor has windows onto the campus courtyard, wooden trusses and the doors of Hall A at the far end. During an event a sponsor wall and screens stand by those doors, and integrated advertising screens serve sponsor activations.

Coffee breaks, buffet catering, drinks and the bar are provided by Gastrolės, a long-standing Tech Zity partner. Ink Idea produces sponsor stands, photo walls, scenography and graphics.

Several sessions at once

If your programme combines a plenary with parallel sessions, the halls work together: the plenary takes place in Large Hall A while halls B and C host separate sessions, seminars or presentations. When a session needs more space, B and C become a single Hall B+C.

Booking the whole centre gives your conference private use of the entire building: every hall, the lounges, the restaurant and the courtyard, all the integrated Samsung equipment of halls A, B+C and D (the orangery), plus backstage rooms and a dressing room. Registration, sessions and breaks then all happen in one building.

If an exhibition runs alongside the conference, the whole centre provides 2,650 m² of space for stands, installations and presentations.

Simultaneous interpreting, filming and partners

For an international conference, our partner Konferenta provides simultaneous interpretation booths and other production equipment. ARTi Production can film the talks, edit the footage, photograph the event and create video content.

In total the centre works with 8 vetted suppliers. Besides these two, the list includes Gastrolės, Baltas Dažnis, 361 Forma, Ink Idea and Renginio partneris, which rents out pavilions and tents. 361 Forma can take over the event concept, décor and coordination from A to Z.

What the conference hall hire includes

Conference hall hire gives you the hall itself, its integrated sound, video and lighting equipment, 3 wireless microphones and an event coordinator. The hall is cleaned before the event, the in-house furniture is set out theatre-style, and your event also gets the common areas and integrated advertising screens.

Your conference can use the furniture of the centre: 800 chairs and 60 mobile tables that fold away. Extra indoor furniture can be rented through our partner Renginio partneris.

Frequently asked questions

Can we choose a classroom or cabaret layout?

Yes. The capacity table lists classroom and cabaret figures for every hall – Large Hall A, for example, takes 230 attendees classroom-style and 210 in a cabaret layout. The hire includes arranging the in-house furniture theatre-style, and any other layout is discussed when we prepare the proposal.

Can we work with our own suppliers or agency?

Yes. We welcome other event agencies at no extra charge. If you bring in a supplier who is not among the 8 vetted partners, a third-party supplier fee applies for the use of the kitchen, technical and storage facilities.

Where can attendees from other cities stay?

Our partner Corner Hotel can host your conference guests: the hotel in Naujamiestis has up to 150 rooms and, like other hotels nearby, is within walking distance. The railway station and the Old Town are about 15 minutes away on foot, and the airport about 10 minutes by car.

What is around the conference centre?

The SAMSUNG Conference Centre in Vilnius stands on Tech Zity Vilnius, a 55,000 m² campus for technology and the creative industries in Naujamiestis. Around 5,000 specialists are there every day, and the campus has 8 restaurants, 4 green courtyards, co-living, and a health and sports club. The operator of the centre is TechZity Events.

Can a conference run late into the evening?

Yes. The acoustics of the building keep sound from escaping, so the conference programme can continue at any hour of the day or night.

How much does it cost to hire a conference hall?

The price is calculated individually: we prepare a proposal within 24 hours based on the date, the format and the number of attendees.
